Magners Corned Beef & Cabbage!

You’ll need to fill up before heading out to those Magners® St. Patrick’s Day events. Stay true to the holiday, and try your hand at our Magners® Corned Beef & Cabbage!

 Magners® Corned Beef & Cabbage

Serves 6 to 8 people.

Ingredients 

  • 3 Medium Onions, sliced
  • 1 Small Head of Cabbage, cut into wedges
  • 4 Medium Carrots, cut in large chunks
  • 1 Corned Beef Brisket, about 3-4 pounds
  • (1) 12 oz. bottle of Magners® Original Cider
  • 1/4 cup of Packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • dash of Allspice
  • 3 whole Cloves

Recipe 

Place sliced onions, cabbage wedges, and carrots in the crockpot. Trim excess fat from corned beef and cut in half if necessary, and place the meat on the cabbage.

In a bowl, combine your Magners Cider, brown sugar, orange peel, mustard, Allspice, and cloves. Mix, and pour over the meat in the crockpot. Cover and cook on low-heat for 8-10 hours.
